The Ripper
We've always heard rumors of the mysterious Ripper around town, but never did we actually believe it was true. It started when we moved from our old previous house. At the time my family and I lived in the outskirts of Minnesota, now we lived in the crappy town of Nobleston County. It was a little town Nobleston was, only a population of about 200 people. It was the usual small town home, two bedrooms, one bath, a fire place and a small black furnace in the corner of the living room sitting on a bed of bricks. It was cold here but a specific cold, you know like the one you get when you’re walking home alone. It was quite and chilly, the silence at night could drive any sane person crazy.
Now a little about me, I am 17 years old... My name is John Stevenson and I am home schooled. There’s not much too my little self. I never went to school because of the fear of not being able to make friends or keep them. When I moved here I found this really cool guy down the street, his name is Dylan. He’s very strange, he’s my friend and all but something about him and other in this town is strange and unfamiliar. I get a very weird vibe when I walk the streets of this town, like something is out of place. Lately I've been hearing the weird folktales of this thing called “The Ripper,” and I've got to tell ya’, that’s a scary sounding story. Well I don’t know if it’s a story or not, I asked Dylan if he knew anything of the Ripper and he chuckled and said “Nope, never heard of it.” I knew he was lying, a blind person could tell he was lying. The more I heard of this Ripper, the more I wanted to prove it was real. I searched books, internet, and library and there was nothing. Until the day I met Sarah, Sarah has actually seen the Ripper. She told me he has a dark skinny body with long features, he carries a long sharp blade and only strikes at night. His eyes were red she said, with two black slits in the middle of his eyes that are similar to cat pupils.
After hearing this, I couldn't wait to hear were she spotted him. “My front yard” she said, after hearing this I was a little less anxious to meet this thing. It coming that close to the town, I would of never though. It’s always different in the books, the creature stays outside of the town in a forest while lures its prey. That night I waited while my window open and blinds up, looking outside to see if I can spot this damn thing. Nothing was insight till I saw something, I shouted “Ah!”
It turned out to be Sarah wondering around the neighborhood in the middle of the night. She didn't see me as I watched her from a distance, wonder into the woods. Then I heard it, a soft melodic voice softly entering my ear. It was warm and inviting, I've never heard anything like it. I decide to follow her into the woods and see what she was doing, and then I saw it. Sarah was walking towards a tall, slim figure holding a blade to its face. She seemed in a trance not able to control her actions. The thing then puts its arms down and lifts its face, it was the Ripper. The red eyes were glowing; he was going to kill her. I sit and watch, as my body will not move from sheer fright of the situation. I softly scream, “Sarah, Sarah, Sarah!” But no response, it was too late. The Ripper then lifts his arm and slices down as fast as he could, blood flew on my face. I could feel it, warm and delicate. I slowly watch as the Ripper then starts delimbing her one by one. I can still see her body shaking and moving from the pain. Arms then legs, then feet, no mercy was given to Sarah. As I sat and did nothing the Ripper gets up and looks at me, the eyes I saw were then black as night. He muttered something to me, I couldn't make it out. Then he flew off.
