What's the creepiest thing a child has ever said to you?

WHEN social media site Reddit asked parents to share the creepiest things their children have said to them, close to 11,000 people responded.

Here is a sample of some of the best posts so far:

Unfortunatebirthmark: I was tucking in my two-year-old. He said "Good bye dad." I said, "No, we say good night." He said "I know. But this time it's good bye." Had to check on him a few times to make sure he was still there.

NotTomPettysGirl:*Not to me, but to his grandmother. He was cuddling with her and being very sweet (he was about 3 at the time). He takes her face in his hands, and brings his face close to hers, then tells her that she's very old, and will die soon. Then he makes a point of looking at the clock.

GatorMcGovern: A friend of mine's child told him "Daddy, I love you so much that I want to cut your head off and carry it around so I can see your face whenever I want."

evillawnornament: "Daddy sleep" then pushing my head underwater at the pool.

Thingsimeantobe:*My five-year-old at the time had night terrors and would scream in her sleep. One night I said 'mama's here it's okay'. She looked right at me still asleep and screamed 'mama? But who is that behind you?

jelb32: My five-year-old son asked me last week "what do you see through the black circles in my eyes when you're controlling me when I'm at school?"

Like_I_was_sayin: My three-year-old daughter stood next to her new born brother and looked at him for awhile then turned and looked at me and said, "Daddy it's a monster. We should bury it."

abluesxs: I jokingly asked: "What's the best way to get a girlfriend?" 7-year-old's response: "Tell her to be my girlfriend or she'll never see her parents again."

psalm_69: I was sound asleep, and at around 6am I was woken up by my 4-year-old daughter's face inches from mine. She looked right into my eyes and whispered, "I want to peel all your skin off".

olafthebent: "So I shouldn't throw him in the fire?" 3-year-old daughter holding her baby brother for the first time.

-------------------------------------------------------

My 5 year old cousin was playing by herself, so I asked what she was playing, she then replies: "no one to save you from evil, they see everything... Where were we?"

I raise my nephews, and one time I was playing a game on my PC, and one of 'em had drifted off on my bed. He woke up, and called me, pointed above my door frame, and asked "Who's that guy?"

Freakiest thing I ever heard lol.

If a five-year old has the grasp of his language to say that, then you're doing something right! Holy...

Let's see I was in my friends house watching him play black ops 2. (Before I went in his room I saw a little girl wondering around the house (I assumed it was his cousin or something). She walks in the room and closes the door and starts laughing. I ask him who is she then he looks at me and says "I don't know I thought she came with you" so then I was like then who is she?. Then she stopped laughing and twisted her head and stared at us. Then she said Evil comes into your life in unexpected ways. Then she opens the door and leaves. Me and my friend rushed out and we couldn't find her. So we go back to the room and we hear the evil demonic laugh from the teddy bear in zombies in black ops 2. But when we looked at the TV it was off so was the ps3. Then we looked at his closet (which was closed before we left the room real fast) and saw a teddy bear that didn't belong there just laying there. When I tell you we ran out that house faster than Usain bolt you better believe it.

I was watching my friends little sister and she began to get really anxious and aggressive, I asked her what was wrong and she said that 'it' was pissing her off.

One time, my cousin who was about 6 said "I'm cold, I wonder if that man will let me borrow his jacket?" and she pointed to an empty doorway. :|

I was helping this little girl with her homework and the word was "burn." She had to make a sentence with this word. Her sentence was "When people burn themselves they go to a bad place." Like what kind of child thinks about that? I'll never know. ~_~

I was looking after a baby once, and she started saying something in a weird language. It also kind of sounded like she was chanting.

Reddit...I've never been on that site and don't know how it works. I wonder though how many parents/adults competed to for the 'best posts'. Like fighting for the top comment on a Youtube video.

Still though, coupled with some of the comments I read in this thread. Some creepy and mysterious stuff may be happening this world.

I've never experienced such things myself, so I don't have a story to share. :(
