| Welcome to the third creative writing contest. You will have until 22/07/2019 to submit your entries before the poll for judging is posted, which will be open until the end of the month. The theme/style of writing for the first event is as follows. Theme: End of the World - Well here is a unique one for you, it's the end of the world folks, take that how you will. Did global warming finally get us? Were a series of nukes set off? Or did some genius some how create a Zombie virus and well, we know how that goes. The point is, you get to decide how the world has got to this point and this is your setting. You have no goals, just set the scene, then focus on the writing style below. Style: Comedy - That's right, Comedy. It's the end of the world and you've got to make a funny story about it. We've all seen films like Hot Fuzz or cheesy tv series where serious situations are made to be funny. Well now's your time to see if you can do that.
