What it looks like:
The sclera looks brownish with 4 elongated Pupil that goes across entire eye.
What it does:
The eye is made up of four interchangeable rows of specialized pupal. Each carry 4 different sorts of photoreceptor (16 in total). The eye can perceive both polarized light, multispectral images, different radiations (ultraviolet and such), and minute changes in chakara.
How it works:
This eye sees far beyond the spectrum of normal human sight. As such they developed jitsu around this fact. Such as they can communicate through complex invisible light signals that they can radiate from their bodies or manipulate natural chakara to create powerful radiation blast/mold natural surroundings. No % of Darkness, nor blinding light, effect these eyes, including any visual genjitsu. The perceptional power is much more detailed then either of the sharingun or beykugan, such as active jitsu, jitsu nature type, the flow of natural chakara, any physical augments/pregnancy, any traps laid and even where your individual weaknesses are in any jitsu/body.

Medium for them and massive for transplants, in fact most of eye does not work because the light receptors in the brain are not there to translate what exactly what the eyes are seeing. So only can utilize about 30% of total perceptional power.
Is it better than sharingan?
depends. The sharingan is a battle type eye. This eye is more like the beykugan, an informational eye.
