Juhabach aka Ywach just dropped a nuclear bomb on us, claiming that the Soul King is his father. And supposing that he succeeded in actually killing the Soul King, that leads me to an interesting conclusion/assumption. That the Soul King is the actual father/deity of all the Bleach Universe species, humans (including the quincy), pluses, hollows and shinigami.
How, when a human dies in the real world, their Spirit becomes either a pluse or a hollow (or goes to hell) depending on factors decided during their human life or pluse existence. Shinigami zanpakto purify hollows and send pluses to soul society. Those inhabitants of Rukongai in Soul Society with spiritual pressure enter the 13 Court Guard Squads and become Shinigami.
With the Soul King dead, where does that leave the bleach universe? Ywach has created a void that he cannot fill! He is Quincy and therefore only human. Unlike the Soul King, he cannot reproduce all the other species. Only one person in the entire bleach universe has that potential. Only one person is human, quincy, shinigami and hollow!!
