OK follow me on this one, as we saw on chapter 601 page 15 that Madara attacked one of Naruto's clones. So hypothetically he is either (1) doing one of his surprise attacks (resengan in the back) or (2) he is currently somewhere else. Lets say he has gone somewhere else that leaves Killer B, Kakashi and Gai to fight Madara and Obito on themselves. We know they don't really have a hope in hell to even defend themselves, well they still actually have a trump card and that is Gai opening the eight gate The Gate of Death.

We know the 8th gate has great power because it was mentioned and I believe it could potentially hold Madara and Obito back from capturing B and using the 10 tails long enough until Naruto re-enters the fight or something else happens.

Both of them are thought to be clones because Madara says "He's a clone too" notice the 'too' and plus it is kinda pointless to say that Naruto is a clone if the real one is behind him.

Naruto was standing back by Bee. I believe he was mostly obscured from Madara's vision at the time....because right after Madara says that the Kages aren't well he gets pissed and rips the chakra chains from Bee

He said that because his earlier encounter with Naruto was a shadow clone. (when naruto was with the 5 kages)

I didn't realise he was next to Bee anyways this thread still has potential because of what we saw with Naruto's clone being taken down by Madara with little effort and of course he seems to have defeated the five kage without even breaking a sweat so maybe Gai will still be forced to use his 8th gate.
