Why does momo claim that he will be the shogun of wano when most monarchies are hereditary and not about strength?
Why would two powerful wano ability users be traveling with a useless brat through shichibukai territory?
Why hasn't the world government been to wano yet when they have armies enough to oppose whitebeard?
Why does momo have equal value to ceasar and artificial zoan fruits?
Why does a failed fruit work when momo gers frightened?

All these questions are answered if he is the heir to wano AND Uranus. We know that people can be ancient weapons and we know it can be heredity. So if momo is just like shirahoshi and cant control it then that answers all the questions.

If wano has a bloodline that produces Uranus that would keep the world government at bay and pretty much everyone in the new world.

Plus if momo was the next one in line with said power he could demand to be shogun all he wanted.

And that would've explained why doffy wanted him before he ate The fruit. Doffy has been strategically getting crew members so he can be the pirate king and if he saw the chance to get momo he would Be that much closer to his goal as him being the pirate king

It would also explain why momo can make that devil fruit work what ever intrensic power momo has obviously isnt controlable yet though as momo can't use it unless he is frightened meaning his devil fruit "doesn't work " unless hes scared.

And if he can't control it that explains why two powerful ability users are traveling with him. Its to get him away from wano untill he learns to control it. They aren't traveling it's an escort mission.

Context, Momo only claimed to become Shogun once when he got into a childish verbal argument with Luffy and said it as a response to Luffy saying he will become the Pirate King. Samurai are supposed to serve, so that someone young like Momo who is continuously hammering on being a samurai has real aspirations to become shogun, is highly doubtful.

One of those ability users is his father. Why can't a father by with his son?

Wano is strong enough to hold of any kind of foreign power, whether it be a Yonkou or the WG. This was even clearly stated using the WG as the prime example and not Whitebeard.

Time will tell what's important about Momo. As it stands you can formulate hundreds of theories, the last as baseless as the first.

It's not even sure what exactly is supposed to have 'failed'. An experiment is considered failed if it doesn't do what it was expected to do and we don't know exactly what the Vegapunk wanted. If he wanted to create a DF while keeping the ability to swim, well then it failed if the eater still can't swim. He still very well created some kind of DF that has some powers, so that Momo turns into a dragon when frightened, is really nothing unusual. Especially when it has been shown that people who just ate their fruit, need time to adjust to it and learn to control it.


Everything else you just wrote, is completely baseless and I don't get either why you are asking all these questions as most of these have already been answered. The only thing we know is that there is a connection between DD, Kaidou and Momo. The fact that DD only mentioned Momo once and never really put much effort into trying to get him compared to him trying to crush the Strawhats and Law, makes it likely possibly that whatever is special about Momo, has squat to do with what happened on Punk Hazard and what is happening on Dressrosa. It's likely also the reason as why Momo left Wano. Based on those assumptions and the way they reacted on Kaidou's name, it's very well possible that Kaidou is the one that wants Momo for whatever reason and that the contacted DD to catch him in the case they would arrive on Dressrosa, but not explained in detail as why. Either way that's probably the core of the plot of the next arc.
