The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence. Why would a logia user, aiming for the top, never question why the hell people are able to hit him? You can believe Ace didn't have haki for whatever reason, but it doesn't change the fact he still without it destroys the hell out of the CP9. Is it true or not that Ace is at the level of monster trio etc? It it true or not that while CP9 can barely faze a pacifista, people at the level of monster trio casually are able to destroy them? Quantity in this match up means nothing because they are so much weaker than him that they can't do anything with numbers. Feats aren't everything you should be going by. If that was the case, you could make a 'Brook vs post timeskip Kid' and you would see that Brook would win because of feats. That's an admiral right there and the distance between the admiral and Luffy seems to be smaller than the distance between Luffy and Ace. CP9 should not be able to blitz that distance before Akainu.

It is true Ace is at the monster trio but Ace doesnt stop the crafty work of CP9.
I dont care if they can faze a Pacifista or not.
CP9 is not weak it depends on how you use them. A pistol beats a heavy duty machine gun if the weilder can aim fast and accurate enough
Feats aren't the only thing and I know that, Common Sense applys and my common sense is telling me Ace doesnt move afterimage like CP9 (Unless you can show me a scan)
CP9 Can very much get to that distance with Soru, They move at disappearing speeds that closed gaps multiple times throughout the manga.

What stops him from simply creating an air door while CP9 blocks Aces line of vision via Kumadori or the height of Lucci
While the unknowing Ace trys his first long distance move in witch CP9 will dodge finds Blueno behind him (or even underground) Blueno straps the Handcuffs on him just by touching the Sea stone on him for a matter of seconds.
Even if Ace were to react to this He still has his Soru to increase a gap and Kumadori pulling him out of the situation
or Lucci Life return Lepard mode to push him out of the way

After Handcuffs has been attached​

Ace has pretty much lost his DF abilitys by now meaning he can only resort to his strength
Ace's strength will become virtually useless with Kalifa "cleaning" the strength off of him Via Relaxed Awa
After Ace's strength has been cleaned off he's basically a regular human meaning he is suspectible to shigan
or Jabra,Lucci, and Kaku can take.
