couple of Minato questions

1) Does Minato have an element affinity?

2) Why did Kushina say that she could finally meet Minato in the after life as she was leaving Naruto, I thought he was sealed in the death God?


P.S: Sorry if the Kushina scene was long ago, but I felt like watching that anime episode again cause I really liked it, and I noticed #2.

I think Death God is not explained exactly what happens after using it. Kishi invented it in order to explain in any way that you can not explain this to Orochimaru resurrection Minato. Or there are details that do not know about this technique.

Shinobi of high level typically have a few elemental natures. We know for a fact that Minato had an element because when he first invented the Rasengan he intended to infuse it with his elemental nature. Kakashi tells us this. We don't know what specific element(s) he had.

2. The reason being is that Minato sealed half of his existence in the Death Reaper Seal and inserted the rest of his chakra into Naruto's seal. When the rest of his chakra was diminished, Minato faded away to the afterlife. So right now, Minato is suffering for the eternity while being in the Afterlife with Kushina.

It is pretty much like Schrodinger's cat theory

1) No. As Ninjutsu and Fuuinjutsu were his main moves.

2) Because she wasn't able to move on because she was still attached to earth through Naruto. Until she was able to cut the chain that binded her to Earth, she couldn't move on.

Similar to The White Fang. He wasn't able to move on unless he spoke with his son Kakashi. He was stuck on the realm because he still felt guilty of making Kakashi become so bitter and all of that.

But when Kakashi told him he was still proud of him, he could move on.

Wrong. Kakashi told Naruto that Minato tried to combine his element with Rasengan but failed to do so, hence implying Minato had an element affinity.

1.Normally, a jonin has at least 2 elements mastered. So, as Minato was a kage i'd say yes he did. The reason it has'nt been shown is because elemental jutsu usually require lots of hand signs that take time and FTG was more effective for him.

2. That's a good question but i think he sealed a part of his chakra only. He also met Naruto so its possible he still is in the normal after life.
