Counter of FTG.

My friend, the use of genjutsu renders Minato's FTG pointless in an attacking sense. It's alright though, because he's still the strongest shinobi ever >>.>>

I don't know if you aren't getting what I am saying. I am perhaps the biggest proponent of genjutsu on this site. But thinking about how FTG works and how genjutsu works, I can't see genjutsu preventing him from using FTG. People are still able to use jutsus whilst in genjutsu, and since FTG doesn't require hand seals, he could theoretically still use it.

He would still be in the genjutsu, but he could teleport to a safe place. Minato during any fight, has the ability to teleport to pretty much anywhere around Konoha, as the manga showed him with FTG kunai and markings all around Konoha in safehouses and stuff like that.

Minato didn't want to kill Bee.

He just stood there with his kunai raised above him. I think Minato was just trying to get them to back down. I mean he was able to not only use FTG to dodge A, but then turn and throw a kunai back at A and then use FTG to get back to him all before A managed to even turn around.

Plus from the position Bee was in he couldn't have really done any real damage to Minato had he actually attacked him.

Which position would you rather be in, crouched on the floor with a knife faced backwards trying to stab backwards at a target you can't see, or standing behind someone with a kunai over there neck? Considering that Minato has probably the fastest reflexes in the Narutoverse that would not have ended up well for Bee.

Sorry,I don't buy that Minato wasn't being serious.He cut Bee's tentacle and then tagged him.Bee knew he was tagged and able to make a successful counteract against it knowing that Minato would use the tagged tentacle as his location to teleport to.​

Bee knowing that Minato was right behind him was sufficient enough to give a clean cut on his waist.​

Considering that Minato has probably the fastest reflexes in the Narutoverse that would not have ended up well for Bee.

why would you counter someone throwing A KUNAI towards you with a technique that requires chakra? other wise he will exploit it to waste your chakra

knowledge about ftg is actually the best counter. The reason Tobi got pwned is because he did'nt know how the tech worked.

Even then, you'd need to be a s/t user yourself or be able to slow down time like Itachi does in the Naruto ninja storm games.
