Could you survive?

My question is, could you survive without any money? If the dollar, peso, dong, euro or any other currency you might use, had no value to you, could you survive?

Say you are homeless, and you wander your country doing work for your basic essentials, (food, water, possibly gasoline) OR just live in the country side or wild and gather your own food and water. Could you survive?

I would go ask my mom for some money, then I would go buy some food, eat it, sleep, and go to school the next day.

Yes, but I would stay away from cities and towns. Away from all the bullcrap that we don't need for everyday living. Just give me clothes and some hunting stuff that I can use. I had experienced living just by growing my own food.

Its not just about being a good hunter but excelling in knowing what to say and when to say it. Salesmanship is a big plus in a post apocalyptuc world.

Maybe? It would probably take a few weeks for me to get used to it, but I expect it would become somewhat easier after that brief period. Depends on whether I give up on life by that point, really. No doubt I'd have some trouble sleeping due to paranoia if I were out on the streets.
