Being "legal" makes me think it would be on an apocalypse like scenario, where laws no longer apply, therefore no one could control our actions.

You should follow the same rules with or without laws.

Serious reply: if you r brainwashed enough, anyone can kill. Take the army, for instance. I got a friend in it who used to be a complete wuss and has done it, multiple times. But in normal life ofc not.

If the said person discarded all reasoning and came at me with an intent to kill, he will be put down without any emotional hiccups. All of you saying you wouldn't do it must be lying or saintly figures.
