[Discussion] Could X-Drake be a marine spy?

Since X-Drake was once a Rear Admiral, I think it's possible that he's a marine spy. He seems like a virtuous person from the way he speaks and acts. Not to say that that means he's a marine, but he was supposedly a former marine and many are good people. Well, Drake could've made it seem like he truly quit the marines, and this order to go undercover came from high up above. Even higher then the Admirals. So that's why Kizaru wouldn't have known he was really a marine spy. I mean it would make sense for the government to try and put spies in the Yonkos ranks if possible.

This is purely speculation and just offering another way to see the situation between Drake and Kizaru. So I don't think he's all bad, but would like to hear other people's opinions.

Yeah I was thinking about that and to get on to a Yonkos crew you just cant be a nobody. You would have to make a name for yourself and just so happen to have a rare Zoan that Kadio would want to have in his crew.

But in this case to spy for the WG what better cover than a world famous pirate? No one would expect him to have Marine affiliations much like Corazon.

That wouldn't explain Drake's low opinion on the WG. He showed no indication of still believing in the WG so far and made no attempt to explain himself to Kizaru when he had the perfect opportunity. He also spoke about the Pacifistas in shock and disgust.

Well we saw Corazon do pretty much exactly this so its certainly possible. I've never given his character much thought though so I don't have much of an opinion on how likely it is.

I have said that this was possible from when Aokiji was shown cozying up to BB.

We know Marines keep tabs on the Yonko but with all the wtf faces that were shown by the marines in MF at Shanks's unexpected drop in that system ist that efficient plus its a bit of a waste of resources sending an entire battle ship to tail a yonko who cld just as easily show those your pple to the gates of hell.

I speculate that Shanks' crew comprising of pple on the more "normal" side of the wierd one piece spectrum of charecters wld need an agent that goes with that kinda theme so i think that Rockstar fellow might have been the chosen agent, and its not that far fetched when u consider 'Rice cakes' Sengoku.

Then for BM, i have no idea who they wld send but probably someone with an entertainer/performer kinda theme going by that ever popular theory by @Shon93(i think), though there is the possiblity that the marines r staggering the infiltrations so they domt,happen simultaneously just in case one is caught and spills it wld'nt b evident as to if other yonko r infiltrated and by who if so, so maybe BM hasnt been sent a trojan horse yet other that Luffy's Jokey Smurf type Surprise.

As for BB its easy all u need is a person with a great DF but seeing as that wld also make them a target and get them killed and that df repurposed by BB the agent for BB had better b someone of a level the BB pirates fret and dont wanna deal with directly and I think an Ex Admiral is just the right key to this lock. For Aokiji it wld b good too as he is still with the protecting the masses initiative but not working under the i Power trip Akainu.

Thr comes to Kaido who has his Beast and army of beast theme and really what better than an ancient Zoan for such a guy its the right trojan horse present. As for why wld a spy go for making a name for themselves well in op there is no resume or CV better than a bounty poster.

They are going after Kaidou. The Sunny Team will escape Big Mam's crew thanks to Aokiji who will eventually fetch Burgess. After Doffy is beaten, Kaidou will be pissed that he can no longer get SMILES and will target the Luffy-Law alliance. Its in Law's benefit to stick with Luffy and take out Kaidou since you know, being alone while a yonkou is after you is a bad idea.
