Could we be seeing the eighth gate as early as next chapter?

Well since neji died im pretty sure Naruto or lee may go berserk and head after Obito and Madara, i can see one of them getting themselves into trobule and gai stepping in to save them by opening the eighth gate. anyway what do you guys think?

gai will be pissed and open the 8th gate by himself reck the 10 tails then he dies as it evolves

Possibly but I doubt it cause I expect more death and everyone in trouble before it's used + Kishi likes to have alot of talking he chapters. If the progress of the chapters continue at the pace of the last few and it doesn't switch to Sasuke and Oro expect the 8th gate within 15.

True, i can see Shino dying more than kiba, i doubt that any of the ino shika cho will die, the only one i can see dying is choji and even thats not likely since he's gonna be the new head of the akimichi clan

i really think kishi might troll us with neji death there will be another naruto powerup and he will be able to revive people by using kurama yang since it makes things come back to life like trees

Team guy is actually pretty mature when it comes down to it. They have the greatest resolve out of everyone and are not afraid of dying to protect a friend or their way of ninja, so they wont go haywire like everyone is saying because Neji died because they are fully aware of it and death themselves and are prepared to die too. Even kishi said that the only people who really needed to grow up was the ino-shika-chou trio which is why we are seeing the so often right now.
