Could Tsukuyomi Effect A Rinnegan User?

Isn't there a back way out of the tsukuyomi since the sage created the sharingan?

Until proven otherwise, the only one who can break out of Itachi's tsukuyomi are family members with the sharingan. Sasuke's tsukuyomi, however, can be broken by normal means of breaking genjutsu.

Well Nagato can def be placed in an genjutsu. Frog Song has proven that Pain even with the Rinnegan can be placed in a genjutsu. The Rinnegan doesn't have the same powers the Sharigan has so I doubt it can break out of Genjutsu's like the Sharigan.

That statement has zero value since Itachi never used it on an MS user.

Dojutsus makes you immune to visual genjutsu. Rinnegan, MS/EMS should be able to resist Tsukuyomi.

Unless you are Sasuke you aren't breaking free of Tsukuyomi. Only a fanboy would disagree with the manga. Not to mention Rinnegan doesn't give Genjutsu protection, only Sharingan does and certain users of the Rinnegan like Nagato can't use the Sharingan aspects of the Rinnegan eye so Nagato's eyes do not give him Genjutsu protection thus if he gets hit with Tsukuyomi he's dead.

If anyone disagrees with the bold then go show me a scan of Nagato using Sharingan abilities.

I don't think it will if the user makes eye contact using the summonings or paths.

Take note that although Nagato has shared hearing as well as vision, his main body did not show up in Jiraiya's genjutsu, only the ones that actually heard the song are affected.

Using the same logic, it's possible that only the actual body that made eye contact will suffer from Tsukiyomi's mental trauma, it's possible that paths may be able to tank it altogether since they are already dead.
