I don't think Obito will die or have a change of heart while being away with Kakashi - Kishi has build up Obito as a pretty personal adversary of Naruto, as seen again in their dialogue in this chapter...

Obito can change only if Kakashi reveals that he was controlled by Madara or something like that. Otherwise, how would Madara be so sure that Obito will go back to where he was? Anyway, Sasuke was destined to change, one way or another, because he'll probably be the one to change the Uchihas aswell, erasing all the hatred and darkness from the clan, but Obito is much different than Sasuke. He's been the main foe since he was saved by Madara, he planned all this from years, so I can't see him being a good guy, I hope Kakashi fights and probably kills him, instead of watching 4-5 chapters of TNJ and boring flashback, I think everything about Rin and the past can be told in 5-10 panels, no more, no less. I personally don't want to wait 2 months to see Sasuke and coo. joining the fray. :'(
