This sounds like a familiar plot from a book. The antagonist revives something he thinks he can control because he feels he has the power and knowledge necessary. Yet he ignores the fact that the entity he is reviving also has a mind and will of its own. And because of that he is forced to work with the protagonist to try and rid the world of the new threat.

as i remeber even the sage with rinnegan,couldn't control 10 tails,he had to fight it then seal it inside him,i think the same applies for everyone else
