This is just a small theory I had, but could there actually be some descendants of the Uchiha clan alive in the Leaf Village now?

Since Hashirama stated that some Uchiha defected to the Senju clan, I don't think Hashirama would have allowed for them to be killed since he wants to end the war so badly.

Perhaps, there are some descendants of the Uchiha clan living in Konoha and Sasuke doesn't even know about it.

Perhaps, the defected Uchiha mate with the Senju ladies and had some ridiculously overpowered SO6P babies.

Also it doesn't matter if there were descendants if they were fodders they would be useless.

The defectors probably moved into the Uchiha distract when it got built in Konoha. So they probably got massacred by Itachi as well

I think when the alliance was built the ones who defected probably went to be more higher-class members of the Uchiha clan. They probably still lived in the compound, though.

There are no pure-blooded Uchiha left, besides Sasuke and Obito (living) if that's what you're referring to. And there are no other Uchiha's that will side with Sasuke, unless they were pure-blooded. And wood release and sharingan isn't awakened in everyone so I doubt there are any SO6P babies out there. Point is, there is a .01% chance that there are Uchiha left. In my opinion of course.

They joined the Senju clan, but they didn't 'become' Senju. Most likely they joined up with their former Uchiha brethren once Konoha was formed; that's if they weren't labelled pariahs or traitors within the clan. This still allows for them to have been eliminated along with the rest of the Uchiha.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are still a few Uchiha scattered around the shinobi world, much like there are some Uzumaki still in existence as well.
