Could there be a connection between...

So I was reading a thread about the Shinigami and this popped into my head. Is there a connection between the Shinigami and Hidan's god (Jashin).

This is probably irrelevant but I think it would be cool if there was.

It could be possible, but summoning Shinigami's were more exclusive to Uzumaki.

I don't think he got his power from Shinigami.
