Sasuke didnt kill his inner hatred till said "I lost", sharingan doesnt save you from hate it pushes deep in it.

And because of this that he will never beat Kuruma who feeds on that hate the moment your chakra connects to his. 3tomoe is not enough for him, Hebi Sasuke is not stronger than Kurama. Its MS Sasuke that is equal to SM Naruto.

Sharingan isn't winning in fight 2 because Sasuke would get his mind consumed by Kurama's will immediately. Suppressing Kurama's chakra when he's sealed behind a cage in someone else's body is not the same as suppressing Kurama when he's free and about to take your body.

Sasuke's lacks the mental strength and the sealing talent to tame the strongest bijuu and as a result his mind and body will end up being consumed like part 1 Gaara.

In addition, he lacks the chakra required to suppress Kyuubi's chakra and use it as his own because being a Jinchuuriki of the strongest tailed beast requires a strong body that's not possible without Naruto's bloodline as implied by Kurama.

Sasuke is already used to fooling people such as Orochimaru with a genjutsu as he was about to take over his body, granted that this feeling is nothing compared to Kurama's hatred inflicting a person he is used to controlling/resisting the power.

Sasuke isn't going to get consumed by his will because he can suppress the Tailed Beast whether inside a Jinchuriki or on the outside. Kurama admitted inferiority to 3T Sasuke's chara and his ability to see inside Naruto and find a beast in him. He can suppress Kurama whether free or trapped and probably doesn't need Mommy's help like Naruto. EMS Madara had made Kurama into his pet by completely putting him under his control. The Sharingan can win Fight 2 as well.

Also no one was taking about who would be a better host for the beast because Sasuke would definitely not cut out to be a better host than Naruto but he can completely tame the beast and win the fight. I don't see why you are mentioning Naruto's bloodline when we are not discussing about who's the better between the two of them. We are only talking about the Sharingan. Naruto's Uzumaki genes which give him complete control and him having a very strong body has nothing to do with this thread because it is just a person with the Sharingan vs a Beast. The Sharingan can tame a beast and once in control the user can do whatever he or she wishes with the Bijuu.

In regards to fighting kurama in the mind , Yes it would easily help in bringing him down especially MS.

Depends on how strong a will the user has.
If someone is consumed by hatred, like Sasuke before Vote2, than Sharingan wont save him.
His hatred was bigger than his willpower.

So yeah it depends on who is wielding the sharingan.
Besides I dont think that a sharingan would help much or maybe not at all in any of those scenarios.

The Sasuke before VotE2 was consumed by hatred. So in that sense he was not in control of the darkness in him. Meaning his will wasnt strong enough to overcome his hatred.
Thus hewould lose all the fights in the opening post. As willpower is the big factor there.

Shisui however could maybe handle the situations.

Obito still held on to bonds after all (still cared for example about the real Rin), which enabled him to not lose the willpower battle.
Sasuke wanted to get rid of all bonds.

If Sasuke was in control of the darkness in himself, than he wouldnt follow a dark path.
Being in control, as in, being able to prevent being consumed by it, by having enough willpower to resist the amount of darkness that you face.
