At least in the context of Temari VS Tayuya because that's what the databook is talking about considering that's when Temari said those words which the databook emphasized. Temari would have thought Tayuya ran away (

. If Tayuya was even a few seconds faster, Temari would be under genjutsu allowing Tayuya to have her way with her. That is, unless Temari can break the genjutsu which is doubtful based on Shikamaru thinking it is over for them.
