Could Shisui be alive?

We have all read/seen the theories about Shisui and his Sharingan's ability of KA, and we've all been led to believe that he is dead. However, I would like to pose this question to NB. What if he only made it appear as if he were dead? I mean, even Kabuto couldn't find his body to use as an Edo. If Kabuto can't find it then there must be a reason. Well, I submit to you that Shisui could still be alive somewhere. I don't know where, or how, or why. I don't know why he wouldn't have appeared to help in the war or anything like that either.

You see, the way I'm looking at it is that there were only one of two ways that his body couldn't have been found. Option A- he is just that good at hiding things OR Option B- he is actually alive. Think about it. People fake there deaths in real life. Zabuza did it with the help of Haku. Shisui could have done it as well.

As for his eyes? Perhaps he was able to find replacements. Obito/Madara had a stash of eyes hidden away so we know there were some out there to be had. Or Shisui could have learned to live blind. The point is that there were options out there for him.

Now, I'm not saying that this possibility is greater than the possibility that he is dead. It's just a thought that occurred to me. I've always found it odd that his body was never found and that he supposedly died of suicide. What are your thoughts on this?

Itachi awoke the Mangekyo Sharingan after aiding Shisui in his suicide. Why would he have awoken it if he was just helping him fake a suicide?

OR Orochimaru has SHisui's DNA or corpse in an unknown hideout Kabuto doesn't know about.

If he is alive maybe he used a really strong Shadow CLone to convince the other Uchiha it was the real SHisui
when they found his body by Nakano River.

However him surviving is apart of the many translations of the manga in different sites and versions of the wording.

So technically I guess he could be depending on where you read the manga. XD yep he's alive..

Did Itachi actually say he saw Shisui die though? From what I read, it was that Shisui went off on his own and "committed suicide" after giving Itachi his other eye for safe-keeping.

Or maybe used a really good substitution jutsu? The fact that there are all of these jutsus out there specifically meant to fool people can leave an excellent loophole for people wanting to fake their death.

IF Shisui used KA on anyone at that time though it might have been on Itachi..
(we didn't see him hand the MS EYE into Itachi's hands/ we saw him holding it in front of Itachi though)

maybe SHisui cast KA on ITachi and Itachi realized the KA wasn't active and needed to be recharged.
SO he placed It inside of Naruto (the 9tails chakra would replenish the MS/KA would be recharged FULLY)
by time Naruto saw Sasuke again after his fight with Itachi was over and Itachi was killed.

My heart tells me he's alive. He's the only Uchiha I kind of connected with (as small and brief as it was).

If Kishi plans on extending the manga to a part 3, his life would be a very nice twist. Otherwise, I think he might just be dead.

Oh I don't care whether or not he is brought back into the series. This was merely something that had been bugging me so I wanted to get other opinions.

Also, in response to others pointing out that Itachi awoke his Mangekyo at this point, isn't it possible that just believing your closest friend is dead could awaken it? After all, we never see what happened and the way Shisui is talking in the following panels makes me think that Itachi didn't help kill Shisui.
