Naruto had like so many advantages but still he lost.

Naruto had the strength, speed, stamina and intel which Sasuke don't have; He loses low diff.
With intel, he doesn't have the numbers like summons and clones so he'd be facing all of them at once; he still loses low-mid diff, in fact survive a lil' longer coz of intel.

Jiraya's Sound Genjutsu is far beyond and more powerful than a simple Sharingan Genjutsu. I'm not even going to argue on that.

The cool down is not much of a problem as Deva was going toe to toe in Taijutsu with SM Naruto

Also Naruto barely won and would have lost badly if it weren't for the Kyuubi but then again he wouldn't be targeted if it weren't for the Kyuubi..

Sasuke can kill deva path much faster with Sussano'arrow, he would not have the time to finish his cool down before to be destroyed.
If Sasuke go all at start (like Naruto has done), he would elimate the pains without problem thank to deva path cool down which is the only pain who can counter Suussano'arrow and ameterasu.
Preta path can counter Sussano'a arrow but not ameterasu, we see it when Itachi burn Nagato with ameterasu....which only come back because Nagato was zombie.
