We all know this terrible yet hilarious plot device Kishi used to prevent Naruto from landing his Rasengan on Sasuke, but what if Naruto landed a hit on Sasuke with it? Do you think Sasuke could have withstood the Rasengan's power and continue to fight?

Possible I must say, but as seen in this panel Sasuke was more worried at the fact his Chidori didn't work. I don't think atm he was capable of realizing he could absorb chakra until later in the fight when we saw him absorb Kurama's chakra

preta would have negged it and sasuke would have used the chakra gained to counter attack with chidoir and kill naruto on the spot before he can make another rasengan. naruto should tank that rock if anything
