Sasuke could have killed Danzo in the very beginning when he grabbed him with Susano'o , which Danzo not expecting and didn't have time to counter with Izanagi, but he wanted to question Danzo so he didn't.
Karin only helped out at the end, when she healed Sasuke, but at that point Danzo had already lost, he literally said he lost.
This was one of the best battles in the story, and it reminds me of two others.
Sasuke was once again facing an opponent who was using a power he had never seen before, Deidara, Danzo, Madara, Clay Bombs, Izanagi, and Limbo. In each of these battes he analyzed his opponent, figured out his powers, formed multiple strategies in battle whilst fighting, and successfully did them, leading to multiple hits on Deidara, an S-Class Akatsuki member, Danzo, a Hokage level Shinobi with 10 Sharingan + decades more experience than him, and Madara, the strongest Shinobi in history, which ultimately his victory over Deidara, and Danzo, andforce Madara to go get his other Rinnegan.
Tobi didn't help at all, as for Karin, she only healed him at the end, when Danzo had already lost. He literally said he lost, hence the panel I posted above.

Sorry, but you're wrong, Danzo activated izanagi before he punched Sasuke he couldn't make seals while sasuke was holding him with susanoo. These are the handseals:

Karin was only necessary to heal Sasuke before and after the fight as Sasuke had already had the mechanics of danzos technique figured out. Obito didn't do anything, and taka wasn't present

Simply by being there, Obito helped Sasuke. Danzō was holding back due to "Madara's" presence.
OT: Depends on your definition of defeat. Sasuke managed to beat Danzō, but fell immediately after Danzō himself fell.
Then Karin went to heal Sasuke. Danzō, however, after being exhausted and losing his arm and possibly his Senju DNA, still managed to evade a close range Chidori from a healed Sasuke. This was just as his right eye reawakened. If Karin and Obito weren't there, Sasuke would have undoubtedly died after their real fight due to KA, and Danzō would have a new set of eyes.
Kishimoto obviously showed that Danzo was a bit stronger than Sasuke by that time. Several times we see Danzo holding back saving chakra to fight tobi.
I disagree in Karin being the reason tho. Danzo would've won if he wasn't saving chakra to defeat Obito, who he tought was madara.
