It is not the first time that anime makes BS. For example Hashirama in the manga is suppose to cast a genjutsu on Sarutobi, but in the anime it's Nidaime the one who does it

Dumbest matchup ever. Kakashi vs Sasuke thats like Naruto vs Kakashi.

Why?

Because Sasuke and Naruto are meant to be equals 2 halfs of the same coin i.e. SOSP power. If Sasuke and Naruto join up and fight as one they have the power of the SOSP I believe someone said that a few chapters back anyway.

Kakashi vs Itachi couldn't win - Sasuke now has Itachis eyes and EMS - EMS means no bleeding of the eyes and constant Susanoo without pain etc. Sasuke also surpasses Kakashi in speed considering he has observed lee and no doubt open 2 gates by himself.

Kakashi has Kamui which would be a great advantage if Sasuke hadn't seen it already after the Danzo fight.

Easy win for Sasuke. Considering Sasuke knows most of Kakashis tricks and Kakashi hasn't really seen Sasuke fight(properly) in years.

He's a genius. Negates Kakashis main element Lightning. He also has fire. But even then he wouldn't need to use it if Kakashi makes eye contact if he has mastered Tskuyomi.

I like Kakashi too, but it's exactly how you said, Sasuke and Naruto are meant to be equal and it is known that Naruto surpassed Kakashi a long time ago, so has Sasuke. They are not morons, they just can't accept it and find it sad that usually the students surpass their masters. I find it sad too, but we have to accept it and go on

EMS Sasuke defeats Kakashi with low-mid difficulty. MS Sasuke defeats Kakashi with mid difficulty if he is at full eyesight and power. Kakashi can only counter amaterasu using shadow clones but that will drain his chakra so he will die in no more than one minute.
