I actually think they would fit somehow I mean character wise
Even back then in Part 1 they could work together well (talking about the 1.movie)
Well also Sakura being the more energetic character and Sasuke more the quiet type, fits too.
They have a lot of stuff between them like trying to kill each other, revenge on Sasuke's part but heck Sasuke and Naruto tried to kill each other too when they were still friends then also Gaara attacked the leaf and now they are the best allies .... I don't know it doesn't seem like such a big deal in the Naruto World or at least they are easily forgiven.
He did show care in the first part at least, now that he is back to that old self I wouldn't call it impossible.
Well we will see.
