[Discussion] Could sabo stop a Gear 4 punch, and even fight back?

I really don't know where to rate Luffy anymore 
In terms of raw strength Luffy has displayed the greatest so far. I think that without the Mera Mera Sabo wouldn't walk out of that fight unscathed :|
Still I believe Sabo>Luffy
Sabo ain't stopping King Kong Gun though
I rate Sabo without DF somewhere around DD (slightly above maybe) he is probably still around that level since Sabo is inexperienced

Yeah Sabo is not not stopping that attack. He will get dropped on his ass if he tried, he would be better off blocking it like DD. Mingo probably would have been dead if he tried to tank that attack. Its very powerful, seems like Luffys using the bane bane no mi better than Bellamy and he doesn't even have it Lol.

he would deffo be able to fight back...dunno why everyone is hyping about gear 4 when we've just seen it for the first time...everyone should know by now whenever a power gets introduced the villain gets knocked around a little just to showcase the new power, we'll have to wait a few chapters to see what's what...besides doffy seems calm even though he is getting punched & kicked around lol
Gamma knife fukked up all of doffys organs and he survived...He wouldn't die from just a punch lol...

Fight back ? yes. Stop ? No. Doesn't matter if his haki is better if he would try to stop that punch he would be send flying.

No he can't stop it but he doesn't have to. People are ignoring one important thing Sabo is fire. If Luffy hits him he can shift into fire to lessen the impact like Kizaru did to Marco.
Also Fire must always be respected. Luffy can't rush Sabo straight ahead like he did Doffy because that is a recipe for getting Hiken to the face. Lastly the question is if Luffy can maintain G4 because if he can that's means he is only temporarily on people like Doffy and Sabo level..in which all they have to do is survive the 1st wave..then take advantage of him when the gears 4 wear off
Iam not sure if sabo can stop it or tank such a strong attack but we will have to wait to check the after effects of gear4.I think its just a time limit boost(even less time compared to gear 2).So if he cannot use gear4 continuously sabo can avoid the attacks and defeat luffy while he is normal..

Whoa, whoa, guys. He probably couldn't stop the punch but does it really matter? Sabo could (and a full health Doffy for that matter) still wreck Luffy. So let's all just clam down.

With superior haki and using logia capabilities to lower the impact(of the throw), Sabo can greatly lessen the damage. However in the first place he should be able to overcome Luffy's punch with a stronger attack, which he logically should have.
