Could Prime Naruto and Prime Sasuke beat the Sage?

lol Hagoromo and Hamura were by themselves when they fought Kaguya which would indicate they have S/T capabilities


Naruto and Sasuke had (Sakura,Obito,Kakashi) assisting them.

Plot was heavily involved in defeating Kaguya especially since they should have died atleast 4 times.
Sasuke was solo in another dimension
Naruto should have been ash boned and captured but for some reason she paused.
Byakagan couldn't see 360 degrees.

Hagoromo and Hamura fought the Ten-Tails, not Kaguya. Nothing would indicate they thus needed a space-time technique.

I would think it's pretty likely they could beat Hagoromo together.

No, they only fought the Ten-Tails. Black Zetsu explicitly states Hagoromo did not know Kaguya had become the Ten-Tails nor that he sealed her.

Kaguya is stronger than Hagoromo though. You are saying it like they struggled against someone weak.

I'm saying it took only 2 ppl to seal her so they had to of been on par. (thou kaguya didnt know about the seal then) but if i remember correctly they fought kaguya for weeks. Team 7 could barely handle a few minutes/hours Against her. And all of that i think took place before hagoromo absorbed the juubi to become even stronger. So yes, hago should be capable of raping nardo and sauce. Imo

Given their respective abilities before they acquired half of his power, I'd say that they have a chance since said abilities became even more powerful.

Two things made Hagoromo powerful: Being a Jubi Jinchuriki and having the Rinnegan. Naruto has the abilities of the former and Sasuke the latter.

Sasuke used Biju Chakra to effectively turn his Susanoo into a Jubi hybrid of sorts. He basically acquired the same abilities and power that made Hagoromo powerful to begin with. Naruto was capable of matching that power due to harnessing the of all of the natural energy of the world.

So basically....

Naruto: Jubi Jinchuriki abilities (all 9 Biju Chakra) + half of Hagoromo's power + planetary use of natural energy + Hashirama cells buff should put Naruto near Hagoromo's level of power or even surpass it.

Sasuke: EMS abilities/Rinnegan abilities + half of Hagoromo's power + Rinnegan masterly + Biju enhanced Susanoo should put Sasuke near Hagoromo's level of power as well or even surpass it.

Just look at how powerful they became 2 years after their last battle. Meteor busting Chidori and tanking moon cutting swords speak for themselves in my opinion.

But then Hagoromo had his full power + Full Juubi's power at one point...that's before he weakened it by distributing it's chakra among humans.

If you're comparing Kaguya from the past to Kaguya in the war, the latter definitely had more chakra and was thus more powerful. If you're talking about the Ten-Tails which her sons fought compared to Kaguya in the war, obviously the latter is more powerful because of the focusing (as explained by Gyuuki or Kurama) and utilization of actual techniques other than the Tailed Beast Bomb.

I don't know how you perceive Hagoromo and Hamura as having fought Kaguya. Her showing flashbacks of the battle just further proves she is the "consciousness" of the Ten-Tails (and you do know that the Ten-Tails has an eye to see). Here, Naruto exclaims that they didn't know Kaguya was part of the Ten-Tails, showing that Hagoromo clearly did not say anything about it while they met:
