Yes he can. He was able to kill both Hokage and Kazekage in the same day. Plus he doesn't have that worldwide reputation for nothing.

I would say yes- and is this take over country by force - or take over by sneaky methods first - like his infiltration of the Leaf Village before fighting Hiruzen.

Combine thorough research and preparation, with possible infiltration methods, along with a strong show of force - yes I think he could.

ANYWAY, with that team, yes he can. Hell, he already had total control over Sunagakure for a while.
