[Theory] Could Orochimaru be Hagoromo's brother's reincarnation?

I thought of this while making my clan tree lols.

Orochimaru is still very enigamtic and we don't know his lineage. People called him a monster from birth, he is at or above kage level, possesses high degrees in both physical and mental energy, is a master of all jutsus and sought immortality. He was also able to find members of some of the most powerful and enigmatic clans in history to experiment on them for something as well as found the ancient Kusanagi sword that is one of the three ancient spirit weapons. The other two being in the hands of the Uchihas and Sasuke having his own Kusanagi as well.

It's theorized that Hagoromo and Ashura may have been frog sages, reflecting Naruto and Jiraiya. Hagoromo mentioning Gamamaru and gamamary being ages old could imply that as well. Could that mean that Hagoromo's brother and Indra may have been snake sages like Orochimaru and Kabuto since for all we know, the white snake sage and Katsuyu may be as old as Gamamaru.

Orochimaru is something unique for sure. But he's not the Sage's reincarnation, as the Sage's chakra is continuously traveling through time.

I was referring to Hagoromo's brother, not Hagoromo himself if you read the thread's title.

I think Orochimaru is trying to be as close as possible to Hagoromo/his brother in regards of knowledge and power but I doubt that he has any association with the Ōtsutsuki Clan directly.

Indra is Hagoromos son..not Hagoromos brothers son. If Indra and Ashura are opposites it doesn't mean Hagoromos and his brother were opposites. If Indra has Dragon Sage mode it has nothing to do with Hagoromos brother

It still has nothing to do with Indra. He is Hagoromos son. I don't see how Hagoromos brothers sage mode links to his nephew
