Could Neji Kaiten Block Amaterasu?

That was not the question though. The question was could Rotation block Amaterasu.

Therefore we can assume that Neji has activated it in advance of the amaterasu attack in order to protect himself.

That is what we are debating here. What is your opinion on that?

Yea Amaterasu doesn't have destructive power like a tbb so yes his kaiten could block it.

It wouldnt matter chakra comes out of his body to form rotation it would push off his body when he starts it

It would even if he is able to push if off his body he would still be burned a bit

Amataratsu got through Raikage's chakra armour so I doubt it. But either way Neji wouldn't be able to react to amatartsu.

Raikages armor is not like neji's kaiten. Raikage's armor just covers his body with a thin shroud of lightning-based chakra. Kaiten is a huge, rotating dome of chakra that is expelled from the user, completely enveloping them in a protective shield of chakra.
