Could naruto theoretically do this for sasuke?

if somehow sasuke lost his Rinnegan, could naruto replace it? Or would tge reproduced eye be his original MS, since technically sasukes rinnegan was actually itachis eyeball?

Just like with Kakashi, he'd take a piece of Sasuke and create an original eye, which would only allow him to go to MS.

Not only was his Rinnegan technically Itachi's eye ball, it was also a gift from Hago much like RSM for Naruto.

The sharingan’s powers sprouts from the optic nerve not the eyes itself.

No its not, its itachis eye. He literally got Ems from itachis sharingan.

Yes the Ems is from Itachi's eyes but the Rinnegan is a result of reincarnates chakra mixing. Itachi's eyes itself is not Indra's chakra, it's Sasuke's. So he will still get his rinnegan back regardless, the only thing that would change is if it was Sasuke's right eye that is removed/destroyed he wouldn't be able to get back Ems theoretically only Ms after healing.
