Could Naruto love Hinata?

Pain invasion when Naruto return to Sage Mode after Minato rebuilt the Seal what did Naruto do? He ask about Hinata and search for Her chakra before another person and cried tears of Joy at knowing She was alive. Naruto has only cried long and deeply Two times in His life so far,at the death of Jiraiya and at the Pain arc when He thought He lost Hinata. At Neji death Naruto was in shock but He was not crying the way He did for Jiraiya and Hinata so there is a strong emotional attachment to Hinata as He had to Jiraiya. When Hinata got attack by the Zetsu group It was Hinata who knew it was Naruto by His eyes when all others were in dough and it was Naruto who look in Her eyes and reassured Her fears and dough about Her self. This shows that Naruto and Hinata now can see each others needs and wants in each others eyes something that takes time for normal couples to develop with each other over time. When Naruto and Lee charge the Juubi,Obito and Madara and Naruto shoulder was dislocated,Hinata was in the back yet knew before using Her eyes that Naruto who had His back to Her was hurt. This shows that their relationship has ben changing again that both know the others thoughts before speaking a word. None of this has happen with Naruto and Sakura only with Naruto and Hinata. So there is a strong emotional bound between Naruto and Hinata that dose not existed between Naruto and Sakura. It could be that Naruto is falling in love with Hinata a slow evolution in their relationship like everything else between them has always ben a slow Builth up.

Fact Naruto was shown crying in the Manga insatiably two times only Jiraiya death and Hinata's near death, you don't cry like that unless you have some sort of Emotional attachment to a person beyond a normal one. Naruto loved Jiraiya and their love of some kind that is building up in Naruto over Hinata. By the way the cover of Naruto and Hinata holding hands and looking at each other is a Kishi cover official Manga were is Sakura in it? It doesn't existed. And until Kishi makes one of Naruto and Sakura doing something similar or better it stands and what if Kishi next cover has Sasuke and Sakura in a tender moment will you dismiss that?

That's your opinion. I'm not saying it isn't, but to me, Narutos, Sakuras and Hinatas love have all matured in some ways.

It is about perception of "love".

Some people think love between couples are suppose to be stronger than love between friends, or even love between family members. It is not the case; a person can have more feelings for his/her friend than his/her mate. It is normal; because the important thing is feeling of love regardless of shape it comes from; in the end; it is the "feeling".

Adapting this into topic; Naruto have bonds with people who love and acknowledge him; these people are his friends and family members; regardless of the fact that he lost them; he love them. Hinata is one of them, as it had been stated for many times; Naruto was on the verge of a break down; he cared when Jiraiya died, but Jiraiya did not die right infront of his eyes while saying his last goodbyes to him and protecting him. The occurance's time and place highly determines the effect of outcome of the reaction; i am speaking with experience and knowledge, hearing something bad happened to a loved one and it is happening right before your eyes have completely different effects on a human.

Also; again, these also have been stated; there were too many build ups in Pain's invasion. To explain; lets look at what have happened:

Jiraiya died; but Naruto knew he had to get up and start work and train in order to fight for his memory and village. As it was in the manga; he was somehow like a ghost when his mentor died, such reaction of a high depression is also a big psycological reaction; people can react differently to a trauma throughout their life; a higher physical rampage does not determine more of a care; humans are different than each others; even themselves throughout their lives. Then he heard Kakashi died when he came to destructed village. Again, hearing and seeing things are different; also Naruto knew he had to win and keep his stance no matter what. Lets came to infamous moment when Naruto went on rampage; what have happened before that? His mentor and village have been harmed, also many people tend to forget Nagato's speech to Naruto; he was pinned to ground, had no way out, he could not even validate his point and his comrades have been died. Hinata's death was the final drop of it; because it was right before his eyes and making him even more helpless against Nagato's points that he made out. He cried when he learnt Hinata and others are safe; but who would like to be someone who gave a result to a comrade's death, willingly or not?

That's my point of view; Naruto could love Hinata; but feeling of love does not solely mean wanting to go in a date with someone. He loves and cares about his friends; if any other of his friends, these people being Ramen Guy, Lee, Konohamaru, Shikamaru, Ino, Sakura, Tsunade, Kiba or anyone would sacrifice themselves for Naruto becuse they love and care about him; he would give a big reaction after all the built up in Pain's invasion.

Well Sakura confirmed her affections to be love, whereas everytime Naruto has assessed his feelings for Sakura the word "like" is used every single time. The only definitive moments of Naruto's affections for Sakura are his flashback with Sai where Sai asks him if he "likes" her... And the girlfriend moment.

Sorry if those aren't as clear cut as Hinata's confession and Sakura's confession. On the totem poll of love, I'd say Naruto's are treated the worst by Kishi. As mere jokes 90% of the time. But I don't deny he might be in love with the girl... Just that Kishi has done a horrendous job at conveying that point.

I don't recall one moment where Naruto is talking about Sakura and the word love is used in a romantic sense. And there is no confession from him either which doesn't help this out at all.

I'm just stating my POV and Im not doing it to start debating with you, but Minatos question doesn't really claim victory for NaruSaku (or may I add, stating there are no chance Naruto may love Hinata). Considering the way Naruto answered and how Sakura responded. Plus, the moral of the chapter. Just saying and no offense.

My answer would be similar to this. I think he does really care about her. I think when he transformed into the 9 tails during the Pain arc, it was more the buildup of his village being destroyed, Jaraiya, threatening his friends, and when he nearly killed Hinata..her going down was the last straw. I think now they have spend time on the battlefield during this war, he had the chance to really spend time with her and his feelings are still currently evolving. I think by the end of all this, he could very well fall in love with her and hopefully if they all have the down time after being victorious, I think maybe Naruto and Hinata can finally take the time to talk about it. It could be good news, it could be bad. I just hope it gets cleared up. I do want it to happen though.
