Could Minato not theoretically fly?

I've been wondering about the overall mechanics of FTG for a while now, and this was a big question to me. Could Minato just keep throwing his kunai higher into the air (or up and then in a straight line to stay on a proper path) and then repetitively teleport to it, causing him to essentially fly?

I believe it took great concentration, and chakra control just to FTG to a kunai airbourne.. I have no doubt in my mind that he couldn't perform such, however it would be limited in my opinion.. Still good theory and analysis on Minato's FTG for that I'll give you a +rep.

When did i say it did? Minato can teleport to the kunai, grab it, throw it ahead of himself, and repeat the process. I know that much for a fact, i'm just wondering if it'd work to sustain airborne travel.

Well, i didn't mean in a completely ridiculous way such as rising to incredibly high altitudes, i was thinking more on the fact of just sustaining travel in the air but you make a good point.
