Could Madara survive either of these situations?

Nope. Without bullshit plot on his side, he would have lost to Hashirama. Or at least be put in a situation where he can be easily sealed. Whether Obito just decides to kill him before that happens makes little difference.

Scenario 1 yes he could survive with meteors, and perfect susanoo. Plus his wood style could restrain juubito.

As for the second scenario that's literally impossible because obito was in a position to either revive madara or be a juubi jin. Unless you mean his fight against kakashi. Zetsu just forces the other rinnegan into someone. Madara gets revived. Zetsu steals back rinnegan gives to madara. Madara snatches kakashi's eye upon his return. Goes to kumi land, take obito's eye, profit

I don't think he can summon the mazo from Obito if the Juubi is inside him. Once the Juubi awakens the Mazo is no more.

1. I'm not sure there would of been anything that obito could do once madara was juubijin, if you where referring to juubijin obito vs madara I'd say if ems sasuke and naruto took out juubito and madara stomped them both then yea he can survive juubito

2. If obito died before resurrecting madara? I'd say mads would of just stayed an edo. I doubt he could be the juubi as an edo though so I'm assuming he would of just stayed in his edo form

Basically in saying that before Obito becomes the host or even revives Madara, he dies. Could Madara and the Ten Tails make it through? Would he somehow quickly implant the Rinnegan in someone? Or is the allied forces and the previous Hokage too much?

Ah that's true. But since Rinnegan can use outer path summoning what would happen if he tried? Possibly the same thing that happened to Naruto??

IMO

1.No-Edo Madara is beneath Jin Obito. If Obito would've targetted him, Madara would've gotten erased.

2. No-If Obito would've died before reviving Madara, then he'dn end up getting sealed. Everyone was focused on Obito while only Hashirama fought Madara. Even then, Hashirama pinned him down. If the entire alliance would'ven been focused on Madara, he would've ended up getting sealed.

BSM Naruto + EMS Sasuke took out Juubito. Madara would beat him with SM techniques. Madara wasn't even phased when Obito became the host.
