Could Lee receive similar development to Shikamaru and Naruto?

It's very likely that later in this battle, Gai will open the much anticipated eighth gate as it has been foreshadowed throughout the series and earlier in this battle. At the moment I doubt that the Kyuubi cloak will be enough to stop the eighth gate from straining the body. If this happens do you think Lee could receive similar development to Shikamaru and Naruto? Shikamaru and Naruto have both matured deeply by moving past the pain of the loss of their relatives, (Shikamaru maturing from Asuma and Shikaku, whilst Naruto from Jiraiya, Minato and Kushina). Well what if Lee matured from Gai and Neji? It could also give potentially good development to Tenten as well as she would also become stronger.

Rock Lee could but it wont make any sense if he does because his powers are mostly to be used to protect someone very special to him, the only logically power up for him is the 8th gate, unless he has some other speed restraints on him, and he gets naked and becomes too fast, or he trained to enhance his speed lol. But if he does anytging like tgat it would contradict the plot becausr, the juubi clinrs arent that serious to usecthe 8 gates on and he doesnt really have senjutsu so he cant really be that effected to jubbito. And it would cancel sakura's developement out because she is always used as tge damsel in distress or tge object of desire for his developement.

And tenten really cant vecome stronger unless she developes a yin seal and spams the fan, or developes some kund of magnet release and controls her weapons like that.

But I honestly dont see lee getting worked up over tenten, it would be a little random even though they are friends and teammates. Lee sort of disregatds tenten. But if Lee gets developed does tenten

Gai got way too much screentime compared to Lee who got nothing in part 2. This was kinda anticlicmatic (as much as i like Gai) considering Lee is a part of new generation who has a dream and needs development. Gai will probably die before him, i was surprised he did not go full gates after Neji's death actually. Lee is kind of in Gai's shadow (in terms o paneltime, power and him copying Gai a lot). He needs to "grow out" of Gai and be much more himself as an adult and ninja.
