Hello everyone!

I'll keep this short and sweet ('that's what she said!' good job now f*ck off): Could Kishimoto have lied in that interview where he said Naruto will go on for two more years just to throw us off the track? I mean, so we don't expect things like...I don't know...Sasuke's return, Naruto's death and other possible, major events? (I doubt Naruto will die, so don't start shouting at me)

I just have a hard time imagining how the series will continue after the war. I'm not saying it's impossible, it just sounds very...story-climax-y.

Well, what do you think=

no i dont think he was lieing i mean wat would he benefit from it he would just anger fans.... there are also many ways to go with the series after the war, such as another time skip and oro and sasuke once again being the final villains .... finish it how it started

seems like the war just began..
i mean it will probably last another 80 chapters...
also kishi said that the war has reached its climax
so shit are getting interesting now..

or maybe kishi was on drugs during that interview..

I hope there is one more arc after the war to tie up any loose ends. (Sasuke, Naruto becoming Hokage) .

I wonna see the mugen tsukyomi in Naruto, only because I don't want the manga to end. Then the series will continue longer.

I hope so, I think if it finishes within two years it will feel rushed.

Its possible that the war arc is not the final act since I can't see naruto and sasuke fighting in this arc because kishi said that their fight would be the final fight of the series.

Naruto will die....it was foreshadowed a loooong time ago. He wanted to be on the slab of heros that died in war. *unbeknownst to him they died in combat*

And all the other evidence foreshadows him becoming a Hokage the likes of which has never been seen before. Also: stopping Obito, breaking the cycle of hatred and bringing Sasuke back.

First of all,

That's what she said.

Second, I think it's possible. I mean, he did sort of lie about backstory characters getting prominent roles in the next few weeks (Which he said two months ago). So it's possible.

The series does still have much to be settled though, and who knows how long this flashback will go on for. It might go through Obito's entire life and what he's done all the way through it.

Loose ends are being tied up with Obito and Kakashi's development that has lacked in part 2, hence why he couldn't kill him off in the Pain Arc b/c Kakashi's development had stalled at that point from end of 1 to then.

Naruto has made peace with the 9 tails, but we still need to see which direction he takes Sasuke. I give it another year's worth of chapters and it should be wrapped up, unless there's some major plot twist that is being set up right now.

The Prophecy never once says he will become Hokage or stop Madara. It says he will bring about peace in the world. You can do that and still die. Especially if his death ends the war and he saves Obito, Sasuke and others. Kishi has said a few times Naruto isn't the main character, that there isn't one. He is just the titular character.

"Sasuke has to die" or "Naruto has to live" are just assumptions that the reader comes up with to reflect their own personal desires. Sometimes good doesn't always win, and sometimes the good guys have to die in order to let good itself win at the end of the day. Madara (and Sasuke, apparently) have the power to stop the 9 tails. Madara seems very unintimidated by Naruto and it's likely he can own Kurama and make him a mindslave with zero effort. Then say bye bye to 9 tails chakra mode and bijuu mode.

Out before flames.

This is especially true because of how vague the Japanese language can be sometimes. If someone could link to the Japanese text of the interview I might be able to translate it.

Real interview of kishi

Actuallty this is the real interview :

Here is the website :

What was the reason you started to write Naruto??

Kishimoto-sensei: At the beginning, I thought I’d write a story with a lot of ninjas, with a lot of plothole, because i love this.

What was rhe theme that you fussed over the most (in Naruto)?

Kishimoto-sensei: The idea of being acknowledged, of wanting to be acknowledged. I gave the protagonist my own feelings of wanting to be acknowledged by my manga’s editor. The idea of writing a manga during 600 chapters, and laughing to see your face when you discover you got screwed.

What is the class of readers that you keep in mind (when writing)?

Kishimoto-sensei: First of all, children… second, the morons and all slow brains all over the world.

Did something happen when you were in the second year of middle school?

Kishimoto-sensei: I decided I wanted to become a professional mangaka, and i Got hit by Ichiraku, the bad guy in my class, he crushed my nuts together.

Who is your rival?

Kishimoto-sensei: There are many. My mom, my dog's neighboor, and Oda, because he has some logic in his manga
