Could Karin be an Uzumaki?

Could it be possible that Karin is an Uzumaki?

She has red hair and got stabbed by Sasuke but still held on and didn't die.
(The Uzumaki clan, as we all know, has many red heads and high vital regeneration "skills")

She also is now in Konohagakure which may leads to a romance between her and Naruto.
(That's at least what I hope, her being an Uzumaki would help enormously)

If we can trust Tobi/Obito Nagato also was an Uzumaki making this not just coming out of the blue.

I really wonder if that could be, or is this actually already been told and I just missed it?

Been a while since I read this and I just read it for the main story, just recently started thinking about
what will happen.
