those bubbles are representations of kurama's chakra being drawn away. Not really an indication both are using the exact same cahakra absorption technique. Madara using preta without the rinnegan doesn't make sense to me. We've seen other characters use the ability to absorb chakra so it's possible Madara could too without preta path.


The flames disappeared and Hashirama says "he can absorb ninjutsu".

I believe he used some generic chakra absorption technique (like how wz and yoroi can absorb chakra) since it'd be weird to say he can use a six paths technique without the rinnegan.

Hashirama is saying "He can absorb Ninjutsu!" not "He can absorb Ninjutsu?!"

It's confusing, but Hashirama was making a statement on how Amaterasu was going to be useless on Madara there, since Hashi thought he still had the Rinnegan. Hence why Madara closed his eyes, so that no one could see it was gone.

Preta Path was not used there because his Rinnegan had already disappeared. It's a confusing scan.

???? this has nothing to do with my post. i made no mention of amaterasu being nerfed. most of what you stated was valid(except one or two), the thing is, it is irrelevant o the thread since those examples dont involve kakashi being able to do the same since he does not possess the counters as those shinobis and again the main point is about dodging, not countering. kakashi does not have the speed to dodge amaterasu thus he gets hit and he dies. simple

Kakashi likely use and Earth sytle jutsu to dodge Amaterasu. Like he did again Pein to avoid Shinra Tensei and the puppet Pein with his blades.

No you're ignoring the following facts

1.if it wasn't for B being a perfect Jin the 8tails would've been dead with one shot

2. Kishi purposefully made inexperienced emotional Sasuke use Amaterasu irresponsibly in the summit

3. EMS Sasuke was too haxx so plot made him use his jutsu against JuubiJins and Rinnegan users, you know, the guys with the power to counter every jutsu

4. The fact only Naruto has the power to counter current Sasuke's amaterasu. Everyone else dies instantly

No one apart for RSM Naruto had the speed to dodge current Sasuke's amaterasu, and no one apart for JuibiJins have the power to counter Sasuke's jutsu

Well if you don't deny it, that'd mean sasuke can't evade it either for starters.
2nd kakashi can initiate a portal infront of him and amaterasu will go right through the portal. But this will only happen if kakashi is sure of amaterasu. And kamui speed >= amaterasu.
