In chapter 669, he said " To be honest, I can't see really well with my left eye... To aim accurately with the kamui, I should get very close to it." It is not that he's eyesight is deteriorating, he cannot see clearly with the eye to begin with. It could be because It was Obito's eye or something to do with the transplant. Kakashi will have a harder time using kamui for long range attacks but is deadly accurate once he's near. I don't want to say that this is the jutsu's weakness, since the eye is somehow incompatible with Kakashi. What do you think?

Would make sense, Sasuke's Susano'o arrow and Pein's nail were very close while Deidara was far away and he missed.

Remember when Kakashi used Kamui on Deidaras arm? That was from quite a distance. We all know when you over use Mangekyo you loose your sight manga fact. Its the only logical explanation why that statement got panel time Kakashi is loosing his sight.

Obito was far away from Danzo/Sasuke, yet he was about to kamui the sword to protect Sasuke.
Maybe Obito as the original owner can use kamui for long range.

All Kakashi needs to do is pop some contacts on and he's good.

Kakashi admitted upon encountering Itachi in Shippuden that he knew that MS caused one to lose their sight. It's not temporary. If Kakashi's opponent stays 10m away from him, they are safe from Kamui. Obito on the other hand...
