Could Itachi solo Konoha?

Pain had the immeasurable advantage of a dispersed and confused village (element of surprise). Think about it - Konoha's undisputed strongest fighters are Naruto, Danzo, Kakashi, Gai, and Tsunade. Naruto and Gai were out of the picture, Danzo chose to chill out underground, and Tsunade opted to heal. Out of Konoha's top 5, only Kakashi was actively engaging the enemy. Furthermore, unlike Itachi, Pain has six bodies with which he distracted fighters with throughout the entire village, not to mention half a dozen summons at his disposal to cause even more havoc.

Without all that, there is no way that Itachi will survive getting gang-banged by Kakashi, Gai, Tsunade, and Danzo (since you left Naruto out). Kakashi alone is essentially equal to Itachi in base, so Itachi would need to resort to Mangekyo techniques to take him out (I'm assuming this is Pain Arc Kakashi, who cannot yet spam Kamui). Itachi has neither the strength nor the stamina to fight against four Kage level fighters, not to mention the rookies for support and the armies of fodder in the background.

his secret past forced his little brother to kill a man who continued to betray the Leaf.
then he stopped his little brother from destroying the Leaf just by hugging him.

the edo army was ALREADY FREAKING DEFEATED by said alliance.
then he unleashed his brother by corrupting him in the first place and torturing him to an inch of his life. and itachi even extorted the leaf and tried to murder its own people like kakashi who did nothing to anyone his whole life

No, itatchi doesn't know any large scale damaging techniques like shinra tensei, nor does he have the chakra reserves to pull such an achievement
