Could itachi have surpassed madara / minato surpass hashirama?

there are people in the manga, where the main character does what others had a chance to, but couldn't, for whatever reasons.

i think itachi was meant to surpass madara like how minato was meant to surpass hashirama. at least by chance, i think.

character whose potential was as great as the main, but chose not to, and perhaps wasn't lucky enough to...that's how i see minato and itachi, against sasuke and naruto.

which is why i also think kishi describes the two role models almost flawless in that they weren't beaten by any other but themselves.

Itachi cant get Senju DNA from anywhere, and nor does Minato, so for both, its a no.

Hmm...imho if Itachi had gotten EMS, and Senju DNA... Rinnegan...he'd be slightly better than Madara or equal to him. I'd say slightly superior....all just my opinion.

I feel Minato could not and was never meant to surpass Hashirama. Just my opinion.

This is the way I look at it.



Itachi and both minato respectively could have surpassed madara and Hashirama.

What we have to chart is there rapid and unusual development.





Minato at about 21 was hokage and able to soloe armies from opposing nations, and was the fastest shinobi alive.

Itach at age 13 was able to best a Sanin level opponent.



The scary thing about these 2 shinobi was there age, they still had so much to learn if they would of still been alive.


Look at how much the Sanin improved compared to when they where younger, itachi and minato would of easily replicated that but only better because its been stated countless times that they where both once in a lifetime geniuses.



But since there life was cut short, they both respectively become the second to last bench mark that the 2 main characters surpass before getting to madara and Hashiramas level

I see a big difference between the the two...when I think Minato was Hokage at 21. While Itachi had the the mind of a Hokage at 7. I feel he could have been Hokage at 10 or 11. I see no other prodigies like Madara, Hashirama, and Itachi. What do you know....they are also the only three to break the restraint of the Edo Tensei. All just my view...I feel Itachi could...Minato no.

Itachi would have surpassed him by miles if he had the as much time as madra. He would probably end up being the ultimate ninja. And he found those ancient weapons. If he didnt learn a jutsu or further his abilities it would only be by personal choice, im not a fan of him but that dude was a freakin beast!

Itachi had the potential to be the most powerful NInja of his time, he was only not able to reach that goal due to plot no jutsu and aids

Itachi more than likely would have been stronger than Madara, The fact that he didn't live as long as him is something taken into account. The fact that Itachi was so strong at such a young age is scary, none of the other characters were at his level at his age.

Madara and Hashirama at Itachis young age imo were better. They could kill adults in a time where battle was almost perpetual. They created techniques out of need ad desperation...not just for kicks like Minato. Madara and Hashirama killed adults who lived in those deadly times.

Itachi would be equal to Madara most likely...if anything very slightly weaker or stronger. But most likely equal. Minato...imho no way in hell does he surpass Hashirama as an overall.

Minato surpass Hashirama....I just don't see it happening really...but to each his own. :yayy:
