[Spoilers] Could Itachi have created the Sword of Totsuka and Yata Mirror for himself?

To anyone else who is reading this thread the correction is that Itachi summoned the weapons not created

nope. he found them because it seems that like orochimaru, itachi was doing a lot of digging around from the time he was young. perhaps the naraka shrine has something to do with it as well, maybe it leaves hints as to where the weapons were since black zetsu had knowledge of it and tobi was sneaking in to read the tablet.
