Could Itachi have been watching Sasuke fight Orochimaru?

So I was watching some old episodes again, and I noticed something.

at the end of the Sasuke vs Orochimaru fight in the Chunin Exams , after Orochimaru bites Sasuke's neck, some crows fly out of the area, and followed the awkward silence, which could have been Itachi's crows.

And then, a little before that, Orochimaru seemingly stopped attacking them, as if he could see Itachi somewhere behind Sasuke, and flee'd out of fear.

What do you think?
