Could Itachi beat Preta Path combined with Animal Path? So that is the path which absorbs all ninjutsu and the path which can summon:

Yes, it can even summon Konan to fight for it. For this scenario, Gedo Mazo can use the soul dragon by itself. Nagato himself is forbidden from entering the fight. Gedo Mazo cannot be genjutsu due to it having its eyes covered, but it can sense Itachi's whereabouts, like when it fought against Hanzo's army. This is alive Itachi, no Edo. Animal Path is not present but her summons are, so killing animal path to defeat the summons is not allowed.

So can Itachi overcome Preta Path, 8 summons, Gedo Mazo + Konan? If it's too much of a stomp for Team Preta, i'll restrict it to just Gedo Mazo and Preta Path.

Yes, but I just noticed that the scenario rules say that the summoner is not there, but the summons are. So Amaterasu-ing the summoner isn't possible but Itachi could just Totsuka Blade everyone, if he wants it to be fast.
