Amaterasu has been stated as the "most powerful physical attack" by zetsu , but it has failed to burn most simple things like human bodies .


But the funny thing is , the almighty gudodama which is said to negate all ninjutsu , couldn't negate it .

But I think I got the answer to why gudodama didnt couldn't erase amaterasu .....

Natural energy works against itself hence why it tied with the TSB .

Amaterasu has the same application of TSB , IT negates ninjutsu like Fireball and toad stomach. And it can affect the life of substances like burning the lifeforce of kabuto's cave which is replicated by TSB as it negated the souls of edo tensei .

So basically Amaterasu = Gudodama . The sage's body .

Sorry but Ansatsuken showed truth seeking orbs erasing amatersu and also black chakra receivers nullified enton arrow as well.
I think Totsuka is the only thing they can't erase if we go by what was said in the databook too.
