Could it be that tobirama and hashirama were the only notable senju clan members?

Could it be that the rest of the clan were just a bunch of fodders, and that they only became feared because of hashirama?the reason why i am asking this is because a ten year old madara without the sharingan killed many experienced adults of the senju.and second but not least they are exstinct except for tsunade who is 1/4senju. Whilst the uchiha lasted far longer.could it be that the average senju was around tentens level? What do you think?

When Hashi was a fetus the senju and Uchiha were at each other's throats so no they were always powerful. Though I do believe the uchiha had the edge until Hashi arrived.

Firstly, Madara was a prodigy, it's not surprising that he'd be able to beat some Senju. I'm pretty sure that it was mentioned a while ago that the Senju and Uchiha were the strongest clans around, so both clans were obviously comprised of pretty decent ninja, they just weren't anywhere near the level of Madara and Hashi.

Young Hashirama and Tobirama probably had their fair share of adult Uchiha too.

Yes, Hashi and Tobirama are the only notable Senju's. Well at least the only ones with huge chakra and the only ones to actually put in work during the pre-Konoha era

Your claim is a bit over exagerated,but I see your point. In general I do feel they were the only notable members,but calling the fodders isn't fair as madara mentions the senju clan as the rivals of the uchiha clan. Let's not forget that panel where like five or so uchiha are ganging up on one child from the senju clan. Id say the clans were about equal,with the exeption of the more powerful notable members(e.g. madara and hashirama)

What you have to realize is that compared to god teirs- hashirama, madara, juubi, BSM naruto, EMS sasuke -everybody is fodder.

So, relative to everyone else- sure they were obviously powerfull- however compared to hashirama they are useless.

-Hashirama as a child had no problem beating multiple fully grown adult Uchiha no problem lol.

In the ninja world there is a ridiculous gap between top tiers and god tiers. Top teirs are kakashi, Gai ( no eight gate), gokage, etc...
God teirs like Hashirama- are leagues above the #2.

- Note: Part 1 Zabuza is considered to be a elite ninja in the shinobi world- Part 1 kakashi is considered top teir. Compared to everybody else- people of kakashi's level is impressive. So for example- lets say there was a whole clan of ninja near part 1 kakashi/zabuza level- that would be impressive. However- compared to hashirama its a joke.

Conclusion- so yes, relative to current top teir ( naruto, sasuke, hashi, madara) you could call the senju fodder. However, that is misleading-- because 99% of the ninja world is "fodder" level in ability compared to god tier.

Average Senju & Average Uchiha are in the top 20-15% of ninja. The elite of each clan are top 10-5% percent of the shinobi world.
The leaders/strongest of each clan are easily top .1% of shinobi world.

So, if you want to call a ninja who is stronger than 80% of his peers fodder sure go ahead--

I like to think of it as the regular clan members were like Neji, Lee etc and Naruto and Sasuke were Hashi and Madara. Its not that they're bad its just the latter are on some next level ish.

Toka Senju was a skilled user of Genjutsu, she's notable. I'm sure there wasn't a big difference between the "fodder" of Uchiha and Senju.

It were Hashirama and Tobirama, who had made the difference. The databook associated the "downfall" of Uchiha with Madaras blindness.

No...the senju fought and rivaled uchiha despite their sharingan, generations before hashi and tobirama were born.
The several experience Senju that madara killed could have just been chuunin level low ranking members with experiences doing missions...not elites of the clan.
Although Hashirama and Madara's fathers looked like fodders we don't know this to be the actual truth since they never got serious in their appearances and used whatever Jutsu they may have had.(For all we know they were at least Kakashi/Yamato level)

As for the Senju's disappearance they could have simply desegregated and married into other clans in the village...this explains guy and Lee's resemblance to young Hashirama(Sad we didn't get Strong fist Hashi) Minato's likeness to Tobirama and Jiraiya and Sakura being very Tsunade like...Incest horror...but Hyuuga,uchiha,Nara.

It's seems to have been the Senju clan famous for using various skills/Justu--known abilities based around Water/Earth affinities and Genjutsu/seals(possibly from contact with Uzumaki

no they weren't but they are the most well known i mean they did build the village their descendants ruled so it makes sense those two are the most well known, but the senju were not weak.

I do wonder about hashi's kids though i mean a uzamaki blood line with his dna is epic although none of them got his wood style.
