Okay I was wondering if you all could enlighten me on a little something.

Okay so Kaguya wants an army but for what? It would be horrible if she just took over everyone just for there to be an army to fight nothing. Would Kishi do this to us without anything logical? So we know Naruto basically takes place in Asia, and it has been speculated that Naruto may end 2014. So could there be more lands that represent other countries IRL? So if Kishi were to do another series could it have something to do with other Countries if they do indeed exist in some way?

Honestly I'm just looking for a reason for Kaguya to actually need an army and not result in The Adventures of Space Ninjas.

This is similar to what i said in another thread. The ninja countries arent the whole world, and i bet kaguya is building an army to conquer all of it.

Kaguya doesn't exactly appear human, most likely that the army would be used against her place of origin whether it be another realm, planet or continent.

Well, I think I found out a possibility of why Kaguya wants an army.

Remember the six realms : Humans, Animals, Ghosts, Gods, Ashuras and Narakas.

Currently by Infinite Tsukuyomi, she has complete control over the Animal and Human realms.

So, she needs an army to conquer the other four Realms.

Kaguya is obviously an alien. That's why Hagoromo didn't want to tell Naruto where she was from. She needs the army to take back her planet.
