so i come up with a crazy theory (yes, i too find it not making any sense but who knows) that hinata's half has been turned into white zetsu or something due to naruto and sasuke fight that delays the undo of IT.

then why not sai, shikamaru, and other chars turned into WZ as well?

well thats the question isnt it. back when the IT was just being casted, everyone's dream got shown. but among those chars, only hinata asked for help despite being trapped cocoon and unable to move. maybe that was already a foreshadowed sign from kishi.

hinata could be the first among SA who slowly-but-surely gets turned into WZ.

hope such things wont happen for real, but they're not 100% impossible, are they?

Crazyy theory dude,can't see that happening even so,Why would half her body become zetsu?Its not as if chakra is getting absorbed from only half of her body...the whole conversion to zetsu process must be taking place at once in the whole body.I think maybe you're confusing the half thing due to BZ's presence on a white zetsui.e the zetsu of akatsuki..

the bijuus were taken out of kaguya, so it was only her and gedou mazo that got sealed away. the bijuus are now split into two. little pieces of them are in naruto's body, and the rest are in sasuke's control (CT)

The tree was taking people's chakra and funneling it into Kaguya. Now that Kaguya is gone, there are 2 things that could happen

1. The tree is still sucking out chakra, but since Kaguya isn't around to take the chakra it's just sitting in the tree. If that's the case they could send the chakra from the tree back into the people it belonged to.

Or

2. The tree stopped sucking chakra since there is nowhere for it to send that chakra. This would also mean the Zetsu transformation has stopped.

Who knows how it actually works. But I doubt Hinata is half-Zetsu. The transformation would affect her whole body at once, not just half of it.
